The Floyd Community Support & Logistics Fund exists to help make those things possible.
This community-powered fund supports local volunteers who provide direct logistical assistance to people, families, and organizations doing important work throughout Floyd and the surrounding region.
Funds may help cover expenses such as:
- 🚗 Fuel, mileage, and transportation costs
- 🛣️ Tolls, parking, and other travel expenses
- 🏠 Emergency lodging and temporary accommodations
- 📦 Delivery, moving, and transportation of essential supplies
- 🧺 Food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other necessities
- 🖨️ Printing, copying, postage, and communication expenses
- ♿ Accessibility-related costs and accommodations
- 🧳 Safe transportation for people who need assistance traveling
- 🤝 Volunteer expenses incurred while providing direct support
- 🚨 Unexpected or emergency logistical expenses
- 💜 Other reasonable costs that help local community organizations respond when people need a hand
